10 Simple Changes For Your Home To Increase Your Toddler’s Confidence And Independence

One of the topmost gifts my hubby and I gave ourselves was enrolling our children in a Montessori academy while they were toddlers. We snappily learned that indeed as youthful as 14 months, children are able of learning how to watch for themselves and be an active part of family life. Once your child has prepared his snack or chosen a mystification, he’ll have a place to eat or play. We bought untreated rustic table covers and legs from a home enhancement store and painted them to match our décor. The legs come in colorful sizes, so it was easy to replace just the table legs as our children grew. Untreated children’s chairpersons can be planted at craft stores. However, cut the legs to accommodate the child’s size, If they're too altitudinous for the child. 

5. Droppings in the bathrooms to climb up to the restroom and reach the Gomorrah. 

Opt for either a wise top restroom seat or a child seat that fits on a standard restroom and give a coprolite for your child to reach the restroom. This coprolite can also help your child reach the Gomorrah and countertop. Store your child’s toothpaste and toothbrush, and hairbrush within arm’s reach. 

6. A high coprolite or Learning Tower for the kitchen

10. Small hinder and redundant clothes in ALL bathrooms during restroom training 

In some Montessori toddler classrooms, “ toileting” starts from day 1, where children wear cotton training pants rather than diapers. To support this transition at home, we kept changes of clothes and a handbasket for soiled clothes in every restroom. Whenever our children had an “ accident”, they knew they could go to any restroom in the house and change their clothes. This system of restroom training was veritably effective for our kiddies, who were both out of diapers before they were two times old. 

Conforming your home terrain to support your child’s development and independence is easy to do and will also support you. Children are more able than utmost grown-ups give them credit for, and changing the terrain to fit their size and requirements will empower them in their growth.
